Betty Collum currently teaches fifth/grade writing language arts at Eupora Elementary School where she has taught for the past 34 years. She is a teacher consultant for the Mississippi State University Writing/Thinking Project. She attended MSUWTP Summer Institute in 2001 and was named the Tech Liaison. She was a returning fellow in 2004. In the summers of 2006 and 2007, she served on the leadership team for Summer Institute. In 2004, Betty attended the TechMatters Summer Institute through the National Writing Project. In January of 2005, Betty was chosen by NWP to serve on the National Writing Project Technology Liaison Leadership Team. Betty's passion is to be a life long learner and to share knowledge along the way.
